Robin Parsons

Robin has more than twenty-five years of experience as an effective leader and strategic thinker. She helps organizations have better conversations that help them work together more effectively.

Robin Parsons is a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) and Certified ToP(TM) Facilitator (CTF) and a strategic thinker with more than 25 years experience. She has an MBA, a B.Comm and is a Communications and Advertising Accredited Professional (CAAP). Robin has led strategic planning & business intelligence teams at Devon Energy and Bell Canada and taught marketing and business policy at Red Deer College. In these roles, Robin has facilitated discussions with executive teams, management teams, project teams, student classrooms, external partners, marketing teams and sales organizations.

Robin has trained with Roger Schwarz, one of the leading academics in facilitation, Sam Kaner PhD., author and expert on multi-stakeholder engagements, and ICA Associates Inc., responsible for developing the Technology of Participation (ToPTM) methods used throughout the world. She is also certified to teach ToPTM participatory methods.

Robin established Parsons Dialogue in 2014 and is a ‘go to’ facilitator for Lead2Perform and North Star Facilitators and is a licensed facilitation skills instructor for ICA Associates Inc.. Robin has delivered hundreds of facilitated events across a range of industries and client types. Some recent clients include Alberta Innovates, The City of Lethbridge, Hull Services, GLJ Petroleum Consultants, Horizon Housing, Canadian Bar Association (Alberta branch). 

Robin is a member of the International Association of Facilitators (IAF) and has established the Calgary Facilitator’s NetworkingGroup.
